Increased output thanks to large sheet format and high speeds

When it comes to productivity, the MetalCoat 470 shies no comparison with its larger counterpart, the MetalCoat 483. A maximum sheet format of 1200 x 1000 mm and production speeds up to 8,000 sheets per hour are guarantees for ultimate productivity. The proven sheet feeder 780, which is also used on the MetalCoat 483 and Mailänder 280, stands for simple handling and reliable operation, even with large formats and typically problematic sheet qualities.

Clever details accelerate makeready

The MetalCoat 470 sets new standards in terms of makeready and ease of operation. With a “quick-change kit”, the operator needs just a few minutes to replace all components which come into contact with the coating and can then resume production with clean components in case of a coating change. Such changes are further simplified by the user-friendly accessibility of all relevant components. Manual format setting is accomplished intuitively with the aid of digital displays on the machine. As an option, the MetalCoat 470 can also be supplied with automatic format setting.

Variable line configuration

The MetalCoat 470 is extremely flexible and can be incorporated into the most varied line layouts. Although classically used as a free-standing coating machine with conventional drying, the MetalCoat 470 is equally suitable for tandem solutions or double-coating applications. As an inline coating machine, the MetalCoat 470 is the ideal downstream complement to every MetalStar 3 or Mailänder 280 press.
