Interface Between MetalCoat and Thermal Dryer
The transport bridge serves as an interface between the MetalCoat and the oven’s loading machine. Designed as a dedicated transport segment, it facilitates coating flow-out and supports integrated quality control processes.
It provides the required flow time, enabling consistent coating application and uniform surface finish before the wet sheet enters the oven. Round-belt transport enables smooth sheet guidance for consistent processing results.
The transport bridge supports the integration of inline coating measurement technology (e.g. SpecMetrix) for direct quality monitoring following coating application. It also provides the mounting base for sheet removal systems such as the SSM 887, supporting controlled sheet ejection before oven entry.
